Hi there! I’m Karina Koba — a professional newborn photographer with over 6 years of experience, proudly serving Irvine, Orange County, and the Los Angeles area.

I specialize in in-home newborn sessions, bringing everything to you — props, outfits, accessories, lighting, and all the equipment needed to create soft, timeless, studio-quality portraits right in the comfort of your home. My goal is to create a safe, relaxed, and meaningful experience during these first precious days with your baby.

Over the years, my work has been recognized internationally.
In 2022 and 2023, I received 3rd place in the Newborn Emotions category at the First Open Russian Award Best Newborn Photographer of Russia.

In 2023, I earned an Honorable Mention and Official Selection in the People Newborn/Baby category at the International Photography Awards (IPA), with my work featured in the official IPA gallery and the annual book.

My most recent achievement is an Honorable Mention 2025 at the Tokyo International Photo Awards (TIFA) in the People/Children category — a recognition I am incredibly proud of and deeply grateful for.

My photography has been featured in international publications including L’Officiel Baltic (2024), Elle Bulgaria (2024), VoyageLA Magazine (2025), as well as Moevir, Marika, Figs Magazine, Top Posters, Swanky Kids Magazine, Hunter, and many others — with several covers featuring my newborn and maternity portraits.

In 2024, I also had the honor of serving as a jury member for the international competition Travel to Art, contributing my expertise to evaluating creative work from photographers around the world.
